Although a lot of people see yoga as a way to keep fit, you can’t help but gain more holistic benefits.

Yoga is not a quick fix for all objectives but you can gain immediate benefits from a session. We take the health of our students very seriously and ensure that they adopt best practice, suitable to their own circumstances and needs.

Broadly speaking, the word Yoga means union. The word haṭha denotes a system of physical techniques supplementary to a broad conception of yoga.

So, whatever you are looking for, yoga will help you to experience a deep sense of union and connection with aspects of themselves.

Typically in a hatha yoga class your physical practice of the different postures (or Asanas) leaves you with a balance of mind and body – Annie sees the breath as a bridge between mind and body.
